RNLI Visit

On an overcast chilly November afternoon, London Branch chairman Peter Harrison visited RNLI Tower. One of three permanently manned lifeboat stations on the River Thames, Tower is crewed by ten permanent staff and around 50 trained volunteers and is the busiest lifeboat station in British Isles. At 40+ knots their E-type boat is the fastest in the RNLI fleet. Peter presented a donation from the RFA Association to Tower volunteer Bill Leete.
